The First

Queen Elizabeth I is in a bit of a pickle. Amidst assassination plots, public hatred, self-hatred, and the expectations of being the Queen of England, she must battle her desires and anxieties. With razor-sharp wit, an irreverent sense of humor, and an absolutely true story, The First showcases the Virgin Queen's rule like never before. Will Elizabeth outmaneuver her enemies and remain on the throne, or will love (and scandal) bring her reign to its knees?
